Chairs of Frankfurt

Frankfurt, 2017–2025 While living in Frankfurt between 2017 and 2025, the photographer began to notice chairs left behind on the city’s streets—forgotten, discarded, or simply waiting. Each chair carried traces of human presence: moments of rest, conversation, solitude. This ongoing collection captures these silent witnesses to urban life, inviting us to consider what remains when people move on.
